Est. 2002
At director level alone, we have over 90 years of experience in the joinery manufacturing and exhibition sectors.
This, together with the existing skills of our staff and our determination to invest in the next generation through apprenticeship schemes and training, will ensure Tempus 4 is able to maintain and improve the standard of our products and services offered to clients.
Truly Bespoke
We manufacture all of our own furniture items from scratch at our workshop facility in Leith, Edinburgh.
Within our workshop we also have a state of the art spray painting booth. We can finish a range of materials to the highest of standards, using the finest quality paint and lacquers for a great look and added durability. We can also provide a colour matching service.
Safety First
Tempus 4 are proud to be a SMAS 'Worksafe Contractor' for the fourth year running. The safety of our employees & customers is of the utmost importance to us, and at the forefront of everything we do. Our staff and subcontractors abide by our "5 point PPE' policy"

You’re In Safe Hands
All of our employees are provided with the necessary industry standard training through CITB and CSCS.
We believe in investing in our local community. We’ve been based in Leith since starting out in 2002 and have taken on apprentices from the surrounding areas every year since.
We work with local programs JET and Spartans Community to give young adults approaching the end of school an opportunity to experience a working environment and decide if a career as a Joiner is for them. We have taken on multiple apprentices who have come to us via one of the above programs.
The health and safety of our staff and clients is of the utmost importance to us.
We are pleased to have gained a SMAS Worksafe certificate www.smasltd.com. This means that we have met the SSIP core criteria recognised by the HSE and other SSIP accreditation schemes.
Meeting the SSIP Core Criteria demonstrates that we are serious about H&S and have (and use) an effective H&S Management System to ensure that any work they are engaged in is, so far as reasonably practical, carried out without risk to health and safety.
